I Googled these and

the best I could come

up with is these are

Buckeye Butterflies.

Great Egret.

only a mother could love,

squaks like someone is

choking it.

These are so very difficult to

shoot, they always hang

upside down when perched,

they are not still for very long,

and their wings are folded together

when they are feeding.

Coastal Pleasures.

Insects make beautiful subjects for

the camera, as do flowers. Flower

markings are like runway landing

lights for bees, they guide the bees

to the flower's pollen grains.



Butterflies aid in pollination also

but they are not as efficient as

bees. The butterfly's body never

comes in contact with the flower

and usually chooses flat flower's

as a landing spot, so it collects 

only nectar it needs for fuel, and

contact is minimal.
