To Paint or not to Paint.

Don't paint the whole Blue Bird Box.
The above Photo shows the entrance as repaired,
smoothed and sanded to prevent damage to
the Birds feathers. While standing to snap this
photo a Blue Bird flew out of the entrance. I
looked inside and there is a newly built nest.
I waited 5 days to see if there would be any interest
in the newly painted Box and there was none.

I kinda like the natural look myself! Hope you have a great 4th of July! I'm cooking ribs and definitely having a watermelon.

ok, now you need to buy some of that nasty stuff that stinks and strip that paint off OR get a lot of sand paper and sand it off. maybe the blue birds don't like Blue. ha ha also it could be spring is over and no babies are due right now.
