Birds of December.


The King Fisher still escapes me.
It loves this wire that stretches
for several hundred yards. It has
a commanding view of several
"(slough, slew, slue) How about those definitions"
 It will not stand still for a photo-op.

I see a King Fisher sitting on a wire everyday. But there is nowhere to park to snap his picture. Nice shot

Amazing pictures. I had never seen a Kingfisher on a wire,until this past summer and now you have another one to show this.

that is one funny bird in that first shot, he looks a little drunk. i love it. and the last two photos are really really good.
