Mighty Eighth Air force Museum.
We joined under the family plan.
I will be going back with my camera
and a wide angle lens.

A model of the B-17 is located in the lobby of the Museum.I don't know what scale it is but it is large enough to see the detail. |
This B-17 restoration is not finished. The volunteers are a dedicated bunch, the financial and laborers. Everything is exact and authentic. |
View of the belly gun also the type of bomb they would drop. |

What a great place that would be to explore. I became fascinated with the old B-17's when one came to our local airport. It was open for tours. My husband (he has a private pilot's license) and I love to visit air museums.
My husband,Jake would have enjoyed that place.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the header, that is way cool, like your new LOOK on the blog and the plane shots are super. that last one of the machine guns, those are what my Uncle Jack did in WWII, he was a gunner in the belly of the ship
