Summer Tangier.

I have seen these Birds in my yard before.
Not very often Though.
 " Summer Tanager "
Notice, no top knot of feathers,
no black face, beak is yellow
and pointed. This must be a
juvenile, the adult male is solid red.

That is pretty cool! I must go read more about tangiers. I imagine a top knot like a rooster?

So bright and beautiful. We have Scarlet Tanagers here though they stay pretty much in the woods.
