Lazarette creek, Porpoise.

After a day of shrimping the Boats return to

the docks. On the way in they have a lot of clean up

to do. After securing the nets securing the catch, they

begin shoveling, sweeping, and using hoses to wash

small trash fish, crab, and other small unwanted trash

over the side. This is great attraction for Porpoise

and other fish that follow them all the way back to

the docks. Here you see the porpoise enjoying a free meal.

These are sand dune cross overs.

Ugly but necessary.

The cross overs protect the dunes and vegetation

from people traffic . During june, july, and august these

cross overs look like super highways cloged

with people traffic.
