These are sand dune cross overs.Ugly but necessary.
The cross overs protect the dunes and vegetationfrom people traffic . During june, july, and august these
cross overs look like super highways cloged
with people traffic.

We have a lot of these built through the woods and over the dunes and along river banks here. So much fun to walk on. I wish I had been there to walk accros with you and snap even more of these pictures.
We have these at the seaside in England, I used to love walking over them..
It almost looks like an old fashioned wooden roller coaster .....weeeeeeeeeeeee
