Martin,s Farm.

My neighbor has a friend that owns 400
acres of land with ponds and wooded.
I've tried to get some pics but the wild life
are very skidish, but so enjoyable to observe.

I have seen these Red head Woodpeckers
in 4 diferent locations, they are beautiful.
My 75 x 300mm canon camera just doesn't
do them justice.

I'm sure fishing is great there also.

There are aligators and very large turtles.
Deer and even Wild Cats.

Click on the above picture to see this
little fellow. I realy love Blue birds.

the little blue bird is hiding in plain site, good for him but not us. he blends right in with the trunk. that place is beautful. do you have to drive there or is it within walking distance? the wood pecker is really pretty.

The pictures are really good.....especially the little blue bird. It would be so great to have a little blue bird house in the yard so I could watch them go in and out !!!!

This is another beautiful series of photos especially the first photo because of this cute Red Red head Woodpecker. I love this bird very much. It is so interesting to me. I would so much love to take its photo but I have never had a chance to that. My husband and I took a walk in the wood on Saturday and I heard woodpecker's knocking but there was no way to see it among the tree tops.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for your really nice comment.

What a lovely series of pictures. Such beautiful scenery. I especially like the little Bluebird, really cute on the big, old tree.

Hi Snapper II, I am here from Sandra's blog---trying to find out who Snapper II is!!!!!!! My hubby and I are in TN--and love hiking, waterfalls, beautiful flowers --and I enjoy birding.

I love your Red-headed Woodpecker... We have them here --but not too often... Last year, one came to my bird feeders and I caught his picture... I was SO excited. We have Pileated, Downy, N. Flickers, Red-bellied, and Red-headed.

We also have Bluebirds and they nest in our yard every spring/summer. Some of my favorite birds.

Visit me if you have time... Nice to know one of Sandra's buds.

That looks like a really nice place to go. At first I thought you were in the Okeefenokee Swamp. Nice pictures!
