Feathered against the cold.


Look how this "Great Egret" fluffs against
the cold. Great doesn't necessarily
mean Slick Dresser.

In cold weather like this all of the birds
are laying low and braced against
the cold and drizzling rain.

i have seen them fluffed up twice their size, one time i saw one that the wind was blowing at it looked like a turkey with a spread tail. brrrh birds, great catch
