In early February we attended
an Oyster Roast, as we have for the
last 4 or 5 years.
Gotta have a hot fire to roast these bad boys. Yummmmmmeee. |
You must have the oyster's cause they are on the menue. Lots of oysters, yes. |
The fire is hot; dump the oysters on the iron plate. |
Hose them down with water, then |
Cover them with a wet burlap fabric. |
Now comes the important part. You must have an expert to check on the oysters so you know when they are done. Two experts are better than one. |
When the shells pop open theyare done. Now shovel them up and dump on tables. |
