Grebe Feeding.

Look close and you can see a
Shrimp in it's beak.

I don't know what I thought the
Grebe ate, but I was surprised
to see a shrimp in it's beak.
I was even more surprised when
I Googled Grebe and saw all
That they do eat. 
They are Alligators with feathers.

this is the first one i have ever seen and have never heard the name either. feathered gators? not even in Florida Wow

These are wonderful! I see this birds once in awhile around here. I'd say it's having quite a tasty dinner!
