I assume these are Medow Grass hoppers. I reserched
Audobon and found so many Locust's and Grass
hoppers I am totaly confused. Maybe some blogger
may shed some light on them. I sat on a plastic
buckett for a long time watching it and also a pair.

Monarch Butterflies

Did you know that Monarch Butterflies are
poisonous? Not to humans, but the chemicals
from the milkweed plant that they eat while
in the larvae stage builds up inside them and
gives them a poisonous defence against
predators, like frogs, birds, mice and
lizards.
My blog has been Bllllaagghhhhh. Soooo with the encouragement
of my Hero "Madsnapper" I will try to improve the blog.

Koi Pool Flowers.

I recently took these Photos
on the way back from a Dr.
visit in Savannah. This pool
is on a large plaza at a local
shopping center. I spied it,
parked the truck got out and
started shooting away. I
looked up and there was another
shutterbug snapping away also.

I enjoyed these so much.

I just had to add this fellow below,
he stopped by for lunch.

Fiddler&Sand Crabs

These first few photographs
are of Fiddler Crabs usually
found on mud flats of rivers,
but also show up around
heavy vegetation in sandy
areas. Birds love them for
food. Fisherman also seek
them for bait. There are
many different variety's all
over the world, and the male
has one very large claw which
distinguishes it from the female.

The following are called by several names, Sand Crabs,
Ghost Crabs, Hermit Crabs. They are hard to spot and
also difficult for predator's to catch, they can scurry about
at 10 miles per hour. Their two eyes can rotate 360 degrees
but they can not look straight up so they often fall prey for birds.
I have some better pictures but have not put them on the computer
