Old Song."I see the Moon"

I know some of my Blogger
friends remember this tune,
I sang it when I was very young.
( and that's long, long, ago)
Where ever you are tonight
look up at the Moon. The
Moon is supposed to be very
large tonight. They are calling
it a super Moon .
I see the moon, the moon sees me
The moon sees the somebody I'd like to see
God Bless the moon and God Bless me
and God Bless the somebody I'd like to see.

It seem's to me that God above
Created you for me to love
He picked you out from all the rest
Because He knew I loved you best

I once had a heart as good as new
But now it's gone from me to you
Take care of it as I have done
For you have two and I have none

If I get to heaven and you're not there
I'll carve your name on a Golden stair
A way up high for all to see
Just how much you mean to me.
Ahhh so many Moons ago.

I remember only the first line! And I thought the 2nd line ended . . . the old oak tree. Guess not!! Beautiful pictures.

I only remember the first couple of lines.... but then you're much older than me. Couldn't resist adding that.

I thought of posting a nice picture of the moon on my facebook. I searched goggle for images, and here some of my pictures on your site popped up. I am happy you are using them. I am still in love with the scene it gives. love and enjoy
