In my area the Bream are
on the Bed. Which means
they are ready to lay eggs.

| Watching the fish on the bed is this Great Blue Heron. You can bet it's looking for a meal. That is in the natural order of nature. |

oh yes. the risks of laying eggs - under the very watchful eye of predators. our turtles are doing the same thing right now - time to rescue them from the dogs' jaws...
Have you ever noticed you can really smell those fish when they're bedding.
